Our Story
Wichita Iron & Metal Corp Inc was founded in 1957 by partners, Kenneth Hartstein and Raymond Stekole. With Ray's background occupation as a geologist, Wichita Iron was originally established as an oil field pipe dealership. Office operations began from a small bus in the middle of the facility. In the early 1980's, Kenny had taken sole ownership of the business, and then partnered with his son, Harlan Hartstein.
